Constance A. Owens, PE, LEED® AP
Ms. Owens has proven experience assisting project design teams in achieving LEED® Certification. Her first LEED® project was the Lynn Business Center at Stetson University, which was the first LEED® Certified project in the State of Florida. Her involvement included providing assistance in achieving Sustainable Site (SS) credits 6.1 and 6.2 by providing the USGBC with calculations for Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Phosphorus Loading discharge. Other LEED® projects include the Girl Scout Facility in DeLand, the First Green Bank Headquarters project, in Eustis, and the Barry University School of Law, in Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Owens is a licensed Professional Engineer and licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida, a LEED® Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction (BD+C), and a certified Stormwater Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector in the State of Florida.
